The experience was okay. Series of different rounds. Following is the sequence 1) Spoke to the HR for organisation and role fitment 2) Spoke to Hiring manager for role and team fitment 3) Spoke to a Solution architect for the technical knowledge fitment. Had a series of UI , UX , architecture and code related questions 4) Demo a product to an audience including hiring manager , 2 Solution consultants and an Area VP Solution consulting. 5) 1-1 with each participant of the demo session later. Had a mixed experience here. You get a chance to speak to current solution consultants in the organisation and their journey. They interview you based on the skills required in the day to day activities of Solution consultant in Appian. The process is very extensive and each stage has a significance. I was not given the offer after so many stages with a feedback that they are looking for a more technical resource. Its a fair feedback but this could have been judged at the technical round level. You dont expect to not clear the final round of the interview for the skill you have already showcased in second round. Strange but its ok. Overall the experience was good and you do get a chance to speak to the HR for a feedback. Suggest you to apply for this role if you come from a software engineering background. Management consultants please stay away. This is a great company and you would flourish if it is a right fitment for you.
