I applied for the functional and technical consultant role. I completed the phone screening and was told that I would be considered for both positions depending on my technical acumen. I expressed my preference for the functional position. Upon completing the next interview, which seemed like a technical assessment, I was informed that I would no longer be considered for the technical consultant role. I asked about my candidacy for the functional / generalist role and was not given a response. I was disappointed that they were not transparent in the interview process. It seems like I was being interviewed for the technical role the entire time and was not given consideration to the functional role at all.
