J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Appen (Pleasanton, CA)
Entretien
RaterLabs (previously named Leapforce, and recently acquired by Appen) has a very structured interview process that involves reading a bunch of analysis guidelines and then taking some tests online through their system. It is generally well organized and straightforward. It focuses almost entirely on your ability to do the job through directly testing the relevant skills, which seems like a generally better way of doing things than the unrelated trick questions that some companies sometimes ask.
I took the interview quite a while ago, but I still remember the experience distinctly since the process was so structured. So, I decided today on impulse to actually review it since it was generally a good process. I actually meant to do so a while ago really.
TLDR: Expect a highly structured and low/no nonsense kind of interview, consisting almost entirely of direct testing of the relevant skills.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They have a large guideline document that describes many different criteria for rating internet search results. They'll ask you a random variety of many different questions based on it, after you've had a chance to study the rating guidelines. I'm under NDA (like all raters) so I won't get specific. The questions are straightforward though, so don't worry too much.
