Had an initial phone screen after which was called onsite. During phone interview was asked basic coding questions and a bit of databases. For onsite I had a very bad experience. Initially I was treated well when I got in. HR representative took me to the interview room. My first interview went well. Was asked a basic coding question about subset. But was drilled a lot on my approach. But I got a working solution so that was fine. Then for my second interview I was asked a similar question related to substrings. This one went ok. After that I had a break & then I was supposed to have 3 more interviews aafter this. But suddenly someone from HR came into the interview room and told me on my face that the reviews were not that positive and they dont think I'm a good fit. This is so unprofessional. The interviewers dint even bother to look at my resume nor did they even ask about my background or experience. Jumped straight to coding question and seemed very busy. I found the whole process very unprofessional. The interviewee also takes out time from his/her busy schedule and their time also must be respected. Rejecting someone should be done in a very professional manner and not this way. The interviewers were not interested in knowing about the candidates background and the HR was very unprofessional.
