Had a screening call with the recruiter and then he wanted to move me to the hiring manager, the CMO. He was not able to articulate what product this role was hiring for, so that was interesting. It took two weeks to get on her calendar. Once I did meet with her, I was not impressed. She only had 30 minutes and wanted to cover 7 topics. She would ask questions and then cut off my answers. She could barely articulate what she was hiring for. I had almost no time to ask my own questions. Then it took three weeks to send me a rejection. I was relieved because I don’t know that I would have enjoyed working with the HM.
