First round interview was with the hiring investment professional, second round with another person on the investment team and third round a case. They were overall very fast and responsive throughout the process, keeping a tight timeline and sticking to the deadlines, which was great and appreciated. Transparent and upfront team. Felt like the process was fair. Very smart team interested in understanding how you think.

First interview was directly with a member of the team that I was applying to. Considering that the fund has a HR function, this seemed inappropriate, as the interviewer tried to wing it and thus the conversation was very unstructured and did not cover relevant topics. The interviewer couldn't have been more unprofessional: was disinterested, arrogant despite not having any particularly strong experience to be a qualified judge and asked some questions that are legally questionable under UK employment law. Came away from it thinking that I did not want to work with such a person, someone who clearly just wanted to maintain their niche in the fund, instead of helping it add strong talent.
