      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Angi (Denver, CO) en nov. 2022

      Entretien

Their recruiter reached out to me, I did not apply, but was excited for the opportunity. I 1st did a zoom interview with the hiring manager and the person who would have been my supervisor. A few days later I was interviewed by the hiring manager on-site, given a tour of the facility. I thought the interview went well, and was told they would try to get back to me before Thanksgiving break. I didn't hear anything for a few weeks, after sending several messages she replied with- I apologize for the delay in my reply. Although I'm recruiting for this position I do not control of the posting of the job descriptions to our website or job boards - that is done by another department on their own schedule. We did not intend to string you along - I was told by the hiring manager that there was not feedback yet because there were decisions being made above her through upper leadership. I continually reached out to try and get an answer for you on next steps. There is now a brand new hiring manager for this role and he is taking time to completely revamp this position to being primarily physically security focused. There is nothing you could have done differently, and be appreciate the time you took to interview with us. Because I was a subject matter expert in security and have vast experience, I asked if I would still be a candidate with the new hiring manager. No response. The role is still open so I applied again, set up an interview with the recruiter and told her about the process a few month ago. She then cancelled and said I needed a bit more security experience. I asked her if she could be a little more specific due to my years of security background, she replied no. For a company that states Honest Feedback is a core value, I'll I wanted to know was what I could do, or what kind of experience I could get to be a more qualified candidate in the future? Over 5 years of experience and it wasn't enough to get an interview for an ENTRY level job.

      Question 1

It was more of a casual conversation regarding what past positions required and what experience I had.
