Had a total of six rigorous interviews total with everyone from VP’s I’d be reporting to, to the person who would be reporting to me, to random employees from various different unrelated departments seemingly just checking my vibe. After all that I received a generic email from HR an hour after my sixth interview saying they’d decided to go with another candidate. Six interviews is my new red flag for an employer. That was really unnecessary. If you don’t know if someone’s a fit after three or four conversations then you’re just wasting everyone’s time. Applicants beware.
