The recruitment process at Ancient Gaming started off really well with a great chat with HR - the vibe was super positive. Next, I did a home task and sent it in, expecting to discuss it. Instead, I got an email saying they’d picked someone else who was further along, and that was it—no feedback on my task or anything. I wasn’t told up front that this could happen, and when I emailed asking for feedback, I never got a response. Compared to the more transparent and communicative processes I’m used to at my own company, this was honestly pretty disappointing.
