A recruiter reached out to me directly about the position. The initial interview with them seemed to go well and I moved forward to the panel interview with the finance and operations team. Overall, I thought the interview went well and felt I would be a good addition considering the role was similar to what I’m doing currently. A few days later I got a standard email saying they went with another candidate. The interview process was open and quick while I was still being considered but after the rejections email none of my follow up emails were answered. Basic consideration should be vital for recruiting.
