      Entretien

      The entire process took 6-8 weeks with very little in the way of updates. I had to complete an online assessment, then an initial call with an HR manager, followed by a more detailed interview with the hiring manager. In general, the process itself wasn't bad, but it lacked organisation, and just took much longer than it needed to. It didn't feel as though the candidate experience was a priority, and given this role sits within the HR team, it didn't leave me with the best impression. I also felt that the role spec (specifically the emphasis around wanting to improve the company culture), didn't reflect what I was hearing in the interview. The importance of needing to be in the office 3 days a week regardless of whether there was a bank holiday or not was emphasised - the implication being that even in a 4 day week, it was expected you be in the office 3 times. I was a little stunned by this comment because the way it was delivered gave the impression that management at Amplifi Capital did not trust staff to be productive when working from home. It also made me worry that there could be a culture of micromanaging staff and that improving company culture was not a priority. In the time it took them to confirm that I hadn't been successful, I'd already received another offer from a firm that had also had a 3-stage interview process, but was completed within 4 weeks, and much more organised. Overall, I don't feel Amplifi Capital would have been a good fit for me culturally. I prefer to work in environments that advocate for flexible working and trust their staff.
