I had a quick phone interview first asking standard questions (what made me interested in the job, when I would be available to start, etc). I got a call back setting up an interview for the following week. The interview was 1:1 with the department lab supervisor. Most of the questions were again very standard (what hours I would prefer, strengths and weaknesses, relevant prior lab experience). Afterwards they described the position duties and gave a small tour of the lab. It was a very comfortable setting and one of the best interview experiences I've had.
