The interview process for Director is mostly internal. They do not hire from the outside unless you are exceptional. You would need to have years of success in the admissions/sales culture. They groom people for the next level. The best option is to apply and negotiate to be hired as a higher level of an adviser. Pay your dues for a year and then apply for management.
