The agency found my resume on monster.com and a recruiter called me for an interview. They never tell you what position you are interviewing for unless you ask. Also, they would tell you that you will be interviewing for an entry-level management position, which is false. They call people for hiring them as insurance agents that may have the chance to make their ways up to management. The process consists of filling out general info of yourself (they even ask for nationality, which does not seem to be correct for an interview according to EEOC). An entry-level manager will interview you for 3 minutes and will ask about your background. They want to know if you are interested in sales, basically. If you agree, you will have to fill out a questionnaire (mostly about your goals and basic behavioral questions). After that a manager will give a presentation for about 1 hour explaining about the company and the local office. It seemed to me that the manager could have been better prepared and used less patronizing words when referring to a city (Albuquerque, NM). Finally, if you are interested in being an insurance agent, you will be called for a second interview. Keep in mind that if you do not hold an insurance seller certification, you have to study for the exam and pass (70%).

Interview so far was fair, mainly a presentation about the company, in group setting, with a manager 1:1 afterwards. Overall more a discussion than an interview, with a signup to start learning for the licensing exam.

Overview video was watched. Also answered some questions at the end. Once questions are reviewed someone will reach out (if thought to be a good fit ) for a second interview. This part could take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. Once on to next step an interview will be conducted via zoom.
You’ll first receive an invitation to watch an introductory video. Then, you’ll be invited to a group presentation. After that, you’ll complete a one-on-one interview with a manager before getting hired.
