Interview was good and well planned. The process was smooth and I got to know about the great things done at the airlines. The managers were very professional and asked behavioral questions.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez American Airlines (Fort Worth, TX) en janv. 2017
Entretien
I applied for the same post twice (October 2016 and January 2017). Received an email from the recruiter in the 2nd week of January 2017 stating that she wants to schedule an in-person interview at Dallas headquarters and scheduled it at 4:00 PM (CST)on January 29th. She booked my ticket from PHL to DFW on 29th January arriving DFW at 2:30 PM and my return flight is at 6:40 PM. I reached the American Airline headquarters at 3:15 Pm and reported the security and got a name badge to go inside the building. He told me to wait in the lobby. I was waiting in the lobby until 4:20 PM. At 4:20 pm the hiring manager came and told me that my interview with him was not blocked in his calendar by the recruiter and she blocked her calendar and said sorry for the inconvenience. The recruiter never called and discussed with me about this role. Only email communication. Finally I went into the interview room at 4:30 Pm. First question they asked me is that when will be your return flight? I have to leave the office at least 5 Pm so that I will have enough time to go to the airport and take the return flight. They said we need minimum of 1 hour to conduct the interview. Since I have to leave at 5:00 PM they don't want to disappoint me they conducted the interview for 30 minutes. They didn't offer at least one water bottle before the interview. I took my water bottle with me and took it with their permission. Most of the questions they asked are not relevant to my experience. Funny thing is they asked my resume copy. I didn't take resume copy with me because everything was with the recruiter and thought that she will pass it to the hiring manager. Finally he found my resume in the email and conducted the interview for 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. After seeing all these situations, I thought that this is not a professional company to work with and spent 30 minutes of time and left the building after the interview and return to PHL. I thought my experience with American Airlines will help for the job seekers before they go for an in-person interview. After two weeks received a regret letter from them stating that I have not selected for the post I applied. Since then the same post is announced twice on indeed website. I wish that this time at least they will find a suitable candidate for this position. Good luck to the job seekers who ever are going to attend an interview for this position.
