Nothing personal towards the recruiters, but the f2f setup is just...bad. The ONLY time you really get to show any of your personality is during a very brief group exercise where you get 45 seconds to speak. The rest is just fluff..videos and a few exercises to demonstrate you can push a bev cart and reach up into the overhead bins..oh and a jumpset test to make you can fit and strap yourself in. That is literally IT! There are no STAR questions or anything anymore to be able to let your experience and personality shine. Don't compare it to United's f2f because at least at United, you had smaller groups you could really connect with, the recruiters came by each group, and you actually had a chance to speak with them. American..what criteria exactly are you even judging candidates by? I also get the feeling they really don't like giving people with FA experience a chance. You fly 50+ people in and don't even let them really speak OR a one-on-one? It's actually mind boggling, but whatever. That was literally the most uninspiring f2f interview I've ever experienced, and it was severely disappointing. Good luck to everyone who gets invited!
