Thank you for the feedback regarding the hiring process. During the phone interview I did try to make it clear that time is of the essence and we were trying to fill the position as soon as possible. Allowing candidates to self schedule their interviews is beneficial because they can select times/days that work best for them, however it does mean that some interviews are scheduled out further. This department is hiring on an ongoing basis, so your resume is on file for future openings in the coming weeks, even though this particular position was filled.
