J'ai passé un entretien chez Amerex Group

      Entretien

I met with the CEO and the Director of Planning, and the interview lasted about five minutes. I started to give a short run down of my experience and the CEO cut me off within a few seconds and just asked about my last two jobs and what my longest job was. He kept asking questions like that but cutting me off and going onto another question. He was absolutely horrible and rude and obviously didn't care about my answers or my background. I have several years of experience in the fashion industry and the pair interviewing me were talking down to me like I didn't know anything. On top of all this, a group of employees came in mocking a girl they had just interviewed RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Then they stood there watching me as the CEO asked me more questions. It was so unprofessional and awkward! At the end of the interview I give them my salary range of 70k-75k. That was slightly under what I should receive for my experience but I am unemployed so I am a little desperate. They gave me a quote of 55k. I said I would think about it and then the CEO asked me what I made at my last two roles. I just said I made a similar salary to the one I quoted, which is true, and he seemed very angry I didn't give him an actual number. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I would not wish this on anyone. Do not waste your time interviewing here! The CEO and the employees are such bullies and are so rude. I left crying and feeling so disrespected for my time.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amerex Group (New York, NY)

      Entretien

During the interview, a man who seemed to be the CEO entered the room and asked the interviewer in front of me, "Is she good?" I felt uncomfortable. He sat down and started talking about his concerns as a CEO, saying it wasn't a question but that I should just listen. Every remark he made was incredibly rude. I wanted to tell him that the CEO's concerns should be resolved by the CEO himself and shouldn't be dumped onto a new employee, but since I wouldn't be seeing him again anyway, I just said thank you and left. It was a truly unpleasant interview.
