I applied on career page of Amdocs in NOV 2020, mentioned notice period and expected CTC profile got shortlisted after a month (assuming that they have a opening which can full fill my expected salary expectation).
Got aptitude test link, which includes Logical reasoning, quantitative, testing specific questions, SQL specific questions and LINUX/UNIX specific questions around 120 question for 120 mins.
Got call from HR after 3 days saying written test is cleared and technical interview will be scheduled next day.
ZOOM meeting - Technical interview was bit easy, interviewer asked basic testing questions, sql questions, other technologies/tools whatever listed in resume, scenario based or real life experience based questions related to testing.
Got call from HR after a week that technical interview is clear and managerial interview will be scheduled on next day
ZOOM call - Managerial round was easy, it is just to check your communication skills, your attitude, your will to work in any situation, flexibility, questions on whatever mentioned in resume, puzzles.
Got mail from HR asking for documents for back ground check and asked to fill up the Amdocs employment form.
Got call from HR a week later to discuss the compensation and said they can offer only X much amount which was around 2 lacs less than what I have entered as expected CTC.
If they cannot afford the expected CTC then they should not shortlist the candidate.
Since investing so much time of both the interviewer and candidate and ultimately concluding on negative note makes no sense it turns to be around just a waste of time for both candidate and organization.
