      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amcor (Ann Arbor, MI)

      Entretien

I applied online and got a call about a week later. The first interview was with a recruiter. It was general questions about my past experiences. Nothing too difficult. After that, it took about 2 weeks before they reached out again to set up an interview with the hiring manager. This is where the whole process went downhill for me. The manager called me to reschedule at the time of my interview because they had a customer come in and had to work through things together, so we pushed it back to later that afternoon (which I was fine with. Things come up- I understand). So, I waited around for our newly rescheduled time. And I waited. And I waited. I got a call at about 7 PM saying that they had stuff come up and wondering if we could reschedule again. In neither of these situations did this person apologize for the inconveniences that this may have caused me (it did, because I had to leave my current work in order to find a place to do the interview. About 3 hours out of my day total). They only asked if we could reschedule again. So we did for the the next day. And they were actually on time for this one. We walked through my resume again (very basic stuff). The whole time this person (who would be my supervisor) seemed very rushed and rude and like they had much better things to do. When it was time for me to ask questions about the position, this person was pushing them along as if they wanted to be done with the interview. The whole experience just felt like it was an inconvenience for this person. I have not been offered the position or another interview at this point, but will withdrawal my name if approached to move forward in the process. After thinking about it, it's probably not a place that I would like to end up.
