J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Seattle, WA) en janv. 2011
Entretien
Had two phone interviews with people in different functions from the position I was interviewing for. Both interviews were scheduled within 2 weeks of initially being asked to interview. Both interviewers were pretty casual but not particularly warm or energetic. Interview was pretty much 50% business case and 50% bahavioral questions. Interviewers spent time discussing the type of person that does well in the Amazon culture: self-starter, able to work in an unstructured environment, willing to take initiative even if it is not part of your job. Since all training is on the job, you have to be able to boot strap yourself pretty quickly.
First I passed the assessment its not an easy one, next step is phone screen 1 hour interview, my recruiter shared helpful information; connect 12 LP's to your work examples using a STAR method, 2-3 examples per LP.
Process was relatively straight forward, I didn’t make it to the loop. What I can tell you is the recruiter will be overly excited about you as they are with all candidates. They’ll tell you, you can expect to hear back in two days for feedback. Truth is, if they reject you then you will not hear back within 2 days it will be more like a week. Silence means you aren’t getting the job, they’re very binary.

Good interview, reached the marathon loop of interviews. It was intense and quite focused on STAR stories obviously. Got some nice feedbacks as well to improve in case I managed to get another interview in a few months
