J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon en sept. 2014
Entretien
Phone scan with senior manager, he seemed bored and not interested so much in finding out about my background. After the call I felt it was a no-interest on their part. Later when I informed recruiter I was accepting another offer she was all over getting me to speak with someone else, claiming she had dropped the ball. Seemed pretty disorganized.

The interviewer didn't use the whiteboard app at all, I was writing queries on pen and paper. He was also typing really loudly the entire time, which basically destroyed my concentration.
The questions were not hard, but when I tried to get any feedback or clarification from him he would just repeat the question over again, and ended the interview abruptly half an hour early before I could even formulate responses...since I was writing on paper.
To be frank, it didn't seem like he was paying attention. I'm sure these guys do thousands of these, but based on the email I got from my recruiter, I was prepared to answer in-depth technical questions on database architecture, internals, and query tuning. This was...not that.
