J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon en juil. 2022
Entretien
In the past month I've been contacted by 3 different Amazon Recruiters for various positions ranging from Data Engineer, to AI/ML, to SDE.
For the Data Engineer contact I responded I was interested about 90 minutes after the ping. I was ghosted and a month later got a "I don't have that position any longer."
For the AI/ML position I indicated that my AI/ML is a bit light, they asked for a resume, and then I was ghosted. Honestly that's understandably not a perfect fit, but an acknowledgement of receipt would be the professional approach.
Then I was contacted for an SDE. In fact I received the same form email twice within a 30 minute span, never a great sign. I put time on their calendar, sat on Chime, and no one joined. I emailed while waiting and got a response 45 minutes later with no explanation other than "are you available tomorrow" I said yes, they proposed a time, I agreed, and they ghosted me, again.
So that's 3 strikes. Arguably the most unprofessional and incompetent recruiting division in the industry. Am I to assume a sub-par hiring process also leads to a sub-par workforce? Being the first and most basic step in the interview process, this is a really bad look for Amazon.

Question 1
Can't get to interview questions without a competent recruiter to get candidates into interviews.
It started with an OA, and then after a few weeks, I got invited to four rounds of interviews: technical and behavioral at 3 of the 4, and behavioral only at one.

Online Assessment is the first step in the process. I didn’t have an HR phone screening and went straight to the OA after applying. It was sent to me about a week after I submitted my application.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The first question is LeetCode style algorithms question, and the second question gives a full stack repo (choice of Java, NodeJS, or Django) and asks to solve a backend issue which is causing a bug in the frontend. Unit tests must pass to pass the second question. You can run both backend/frontend indivdually or together
