A panel interview process that involves back to back interviews with different stakeholders from around the business that is very draining.
Based around their principles of leadership, every question is deliberately worded for you to showcase how your work history aligns with each of the principles... Perfectly reasonable on paper, except the questions can be obscure and unclear which principle they are related to which can lead to giving an incorrect example.
It comes across of more of a test of whether you have completely memorised all 18 principles and not so much related to whether you are the appropriate candidate for the job.

Had a pre-interview for the actual interview. It seemed like they already had a candidate in mind before talking to me, so it seemed like I was wasting my time.

Applied online and received an email for a phone screen with the hiring manager. Amazon sent a bunch of information about the interview to study on. The interview focused on Amazon's leadership principles.

Describe a time when you had to make a difficult decision.
The interview process was Organized and professional. They were very responsive to questions and clear on expectations with role and responsibilities. Additionally, flexible with scheduling and followed up quickly with next steps. Although I decided to not move forward, I’m confident this would have been a great company to work with.
