Terrible interview experience! Connect with a recruiter and he scheduled me to the next round. Met with a guy who is supposed to be high up in the department. It’s supposed to be a video call and the person didn’t go on video. Right off the bat asking you what questions do you have for him. I asked some questions about the roles and he said they are not hiring for a specific role. And after that every question I asked, he either told me it’s too generic or just gave me a generic answer to my questions. It just feels like he is purposely being tough on you and try to break you. He spoke to you in a tone that makes you feel he is better than you and the questions you asked are stupid.
From there, he then asked about specific project I worked on and those are typically answered with STAR methods. Same thing happened here that he tried to get down into the details but the way he spoke to you just makes you uncomfortable and feel being attacked. I have lost my interest in the interview at this point.
I knew Amazon has the raise the bar interview but the way the interview was conducted feel unprofessional and disrespectful. Just because you are high up, that doesn’t mean you can treat your interviewee like trash.

Moves very fast and the recruiter/panel is quick to respond. No new questions, everything from LPs. They also want to know about an AI project and a few financial models you built

Cinco etapas de entrevista. Precisa reservar tempo pra assistir explicação sobre o processo de entrevistas. Impessoal, pouca informacao sobre a vaga e baseado em tecnicas de comunicação. Usam sistema próprio que não funciona direito (mencionado pelo rh que costuma apresentar alguns problemas) e recrutador de mal humor.

Last round was a loop interview of 6 individuals consisting of members of the team, hiring manager, business partners, and bar raisers
