J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Seattle, WA) en août 2020
Entretien
I have filled in 100 plus applications in Amazon, that shows how much I admire the company and want to be a part of it.Finally I get an interview and after a month long process , I finished my virtual onsite interview only to get an email that the position was FILLED IN INTERNALLY. Disappointment is an understatement in this situation. I would like to mention I am working full time already and took too much time out everyday to prepare for the technical sql round and all the behavioral questions on leadership principles. I took a PTO to do the virtual onsite interview. If you already had an internal candidate why would you put me through the process and get my hopes up??Isn't this cruelty??6 interviews in a month only to tell me you would hire internally???Do they understand how much a candidate sacrifices to really shine in an interview? My whole outlook and admiration for this company and its hiring process has taken a 360 degree turn. You just lost yourself a great potential employee. I will be taking the other offers I have received and never applying here again.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Austin, TX)
Entretien
The process consisted of a technical and behavioral round. Although the recruiter stated it would cover SQL and behavioral topics, the interview focused entirely on scenario-based and behavioral questions without a live SQL technical assessment. Communication after the interview was poor; the recruiter did not respond to follow-up emails, and an automated rejection notice was sent two days later.
