Entretien
From start to end the process of handling the candidate in terms of coordination, taking for granted attitude, in person presentation organizing the whole setup, treatment with some dignity was all utter poor and discriminating at some point.
The selection process was initiated by recruiter sitting out of Singapore Office..
I went through first phone screen.
Then they invite me to present in person at MG Road office.Which I commute on my own about 20km drive in a self out of pocket paid cab.No courtesy offer to reimburse from Amazon.
After reaching on time, they delay it further by an hour due whole conference room booking fiasco and no video equipment, etc, etc.
After completing the interview/presentation(group presentation interview) successfully with two folks sitting some where in Chennai and another in Delhi, which goes very well.
The recruiter says they've dropped it.
Again after a month she calls back, saying we'd like to consider your again.
So I get another interview call(this time another group interview) on phone with 2 senior AWS technical trainer from Mumbai this time.After an hour of tech round, which I pass.
Recruiter gets back again at their own sweet time, assuming candidate is waiting anyways(so let him wait who cares kinda attitude).
My last interview was with hiring manager which I've written in then Interview Questions Box.

Question 1
The last interview was with hiring manager who was supposed to join web meeting call from Delhi for a position with Bangalore office.
First, he DID NOT call in to bridge at all during the entire scheduled window of interview time.
Secondly, After the time is over, about 30 mins late he calls from his cellphone to my cellphone.
Thirdly without any courtesy, he starts to ask technical and out of public cloud questions domain.
Fourthly, in spite of answering all questions correctly, he starts to argue on salary part, wtf.
Later after couple of days, finally the recruiter informs we are not moving forward.
It amazes me how this whole process of hiring at Amazon India, takes candidate for a ride.

Entretien
I applied online Oct 1, got email from HR three weeks after (Oct 22), got my first and second interviews the following week (Oct 28 and Oct 30). First interview was mostly technical. Second interview was behavioural. Applying for a position in Vancouver, although the guys doing the interview are from the US. If I pass, an in-person interview should be in Seattle but the first interviewer said Amazon Canada employees cannot work in Amazon US, so hopefully I can have the in-person interview in Vancouver instead.

Entretien
Was contacted via email for a phone interview with hiring manager. The interview was three weeks later in Nov 2013. It is three week later and after sending two notes to the recruiter who was suppose to be my contact I hanen't received any response.
