J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon en janv. 2017

      Entretien

As a software professional with more than 11 years of experience both in India and abroad, I’ve attended and conducted my fair share of interviews. The most recent one beat them all… in sheer rudeness. I was asked to report 30 min early for the interview and so I reached the location at 9.30 am. I had mentioned to the interviewer that I have a prior appointment for the afternoon and I was assured that the interview would be over by noon. The first round was conducted fairly on time and I was asked to wait for the next round. Usually I don't waste my time writing any reviews but now making an exception just to let the next person know what to expect and be prepared for the worst. Can you guess how long I had to wait for the second round? 5 hours! Yes 5 hours and it was 5 pm by the time they called me in (so total time spent was about 9 hours). Many times during the interminable wait I felt like walking out but did not do that because I thought it was not polite and I expected a genuine reason for the delay. Perversely, I also wanted to test my patience. They started asking questions meant for a fresher (refer careercup and geeks for geeks – that is the interviewers’ handbook) and if that don’t beat all wanted me to write production ready code on paper with my name printed on top – Was wondering why they did not give me a hall ticket and a number! Dear Amazon, you may be a great seller but your interviewers in Bangalore treat people like scum. If you have already decided on someone for the role, show basic human decency and let the other candidates know. Above all, treat human beings with respect and value their time as well. Your interviewers will have great careers as interrogators all they need to learn is a few physical torture techniques – they’ve got the mental torture down pat!

      Question 1

Refer careercup and geeks for geeks. It's all just copy paste, no originality at all. I hope their entire codebase is not a copy paste from the internet.
