Entretien
1) Application (Online)
Submit your information on Amazon’s hiring site (personal details, availability, preferred shift).
No resume required for most warehouse associate jobs.
Some postings may include a short online assessment (role dependent).
Typical outcome: You’ll be offered a contingent job offer pending next steps.
2) Pre-Hire Appointment (In-Person)
This is the primary “meeting” you’ll attend:
What happens:
Bring ID and eligibility documents for I-9 verification.
Provide photo for your badge.
Drug test (often saliva/mouth swab).
Paperwork completion.
Most candidates describe this appointment as not a traditional interview — more administrative screening than a job interview.
3) Background Check & Verification
Amazon conducts a routine background check after you complete the pre-hire steps.
Once cleared, you’re given a start date.
This step can take a few days to a week.
4) Orientation / First Day
You attend new-hire orientation, get job details, and begin work (“Day 1”).
Orientation may include safety training and additional paperwork.
Not too bad pretty easy and straightforward, simple question surrounding handling and moving. Make sure you know basic safety rules as they will ask you, for example how do you carry heavy items.
