Contacted immediately by recruiter for thoughtful screening interview. Met with someone who would be a peer on the team and felt it went well. Then...met with a handful of other people who while great, would not be working with this position. So they were interviewing me for reasons unknown. Felt good about all conversations, then heard nothing for over a week and then told I wasn’t successful. Gives distinct impression of a department with a lot of indecision and without a clear path.
