3rd. HR Head Interview - Skype Interview with HR counterpart from the US. HR Questions , About yourself , salary and experience.
4th. Job Offer
Additional Information and possible concerns.
The HR in the Philippines (my contact hr was regine or "gyn") refuses to answer simple questions (during the initial phone interview and job offer) such as the following.
Describe the growth of a developer here?
Is there any room for promotion?
Describe the culture of the IT department?
How did this position come to be open?
How is success measured in this role?
What are the working hours of the IT department?
Among many others
This is a huge difference in comparison to the US (American) HR Admin , who is much more accommodating and welcoming.
I asked these questions (and some more) throughout all interview process (to get to know more about the company) and they all gave me different answers.(or none at all) The HR recruitment specialist in the Philippines is what alarms me the most because of her lack of knowledge within Alta Resources. Along with this , I decided not to take the job offer because the job description and salary range that they posted is inaccurate.
The real salary of a developer is actually the following.
PHP = Philippine Peso
.NET Developer II - PHP 40K to PHP 45K (PHP 45K is maximum and non negotiable)
.NET Developer III - PHP 46K to PHP 65K (PHP 65K is maximum and non negotiable)
For the technical interview , review your C# , OOP fundamentals , SQL , ASP.NET Web Forms Life Cycle , Web API vs Web Services , Collections.
I hope this helps for job seekers.
Thank you.
