Filled out the online motivation form which I felt I answered quite strong. Participated in the 5 minute video interview which showed you a question for 3 seconds (questions like describe AlphaSights, tell me about a time you failed and what are you passionate about) and immediately began recording you after for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. There is no prep time like some of the other reviews said. I was a bit caught off guard and I didn't give my best performance but surprisingly they called me to do the interview on Google Hangout. Prior to the Google Hangout they gave me pre-interview questions which consisted of a case study but never asked me any of them in the hangout. All they wanted to know about was why I chose my school, what other schools I had applied to and what organizations I was in on campus and things like that. In the end I did not receive an offer which is a shame because I had done a lot of research on the company and had a lot of great ideas for the case study but I was never given the opportunity to show off the actual skills needed for the job. Each step had about a two day review process.

I went through 2 rounds of interviews before deciding myself not to move on after the second. The first one was a standard behavioral one, recorded before a screen (might've changed due to the pandemic). The second one consisted of two parts: the first a role play, where I was assigned a case and asked to look for industry experts to answer a question for a made-up client, the second a standard behavioral interview.
