J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez AlphaSights (Hong Kong) en avr. 2026
Entretien
I applied for a role in the London office via an employee referral on March 10th and received a rejection 10 days later.
Unexpectedly, on April 16th, HR from the Hong Kong office reached out stating they were interested in my profile if I was open to the HK location. After re-submitting my application, the process consisted of a behavioral questionnaire followed by a video interview. I then had a call with HR, though I noticed the questions were identical to the ones asked in the initial video screening.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
A brief self-introduction
Do you require a visa sponsorship to work in Hong Kong (??? even though they know I am a local resident)
Why did you choose to study (your degree names)
What is your greatest achievement
What does AlphaSights do and why AlphaSights
Are you applying for other roles? What are they
Do you know what the BREAD process is? Which one you don't like and why
I only attended the first interview. The HR manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly. It was just a normal screening interview. Only self-introduction and motivation for application were conducted in English, and the rest were conducted in Korean. The HR manager asked questions focusing on my background and history rather than understanding the job itself.
First round all behavioral. Mostly talking about previous experiences, how it applies to AlphaSights, and why AlphaSights is a fit role. Wasn't difficult, but unfortunately did don't get selected for some reason even though I thought it went very well.
Initial call with a recruiter to gain an insight into the role. This was followed by two subsequent calls with more senior members of staff which entailed more technical questions. A language test also had to be carried out.
