I applied through a recruiter and did lots of research on the role by speaking to other people who work at AlphaSights, specifically in that position. Eventually, the recruiter told me that I would not be doing the same jobs that those other people are doing. I had even followed the "Interview Tips" slideshow they provided to me, but apparently it wasn't even necessary for the position I was applying for. Recruiter made me feel incompetent for THEIR mistakes. If I didn't need to do my research on the role, I would have been fine. Why did they provide me with the wrong slides?
It was okay, not that hard. I was looking forward to receiving more interview feedback but unfortunately did not hear back accurately about my experiences so would not recommend this experience to others
