J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez AlphaSense en juil. 2025
Entretien
The most horrible interview process. I felt completely rushed and grilled during the interview - hopping from me speaking to looking through my portfolio to asking questions about my former employer. I also told them I was dealing with the passing of a family member, so for them to string me along for over 3 weeks in the midst of that to mine information from me was the most heartless thing I've ever experienced. Just awful!

Question 1
Describe how you'd handle this project from start to end with an extremely small team.
Initial phone screen with recruiter. Call with hiring manager. Moved two next round which were technical calls but no heads up on these. Final round was with two other collaborators (they bashed the team I was being hired for so that threw me off a bit). Overall it was a below average experience. Recruiter was not great about following up much less communicating what the next rounds would cover which compared to other tech companies, is a bad look. Loved the hiring manager but they went in another direction and I wish them the best of luck!
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez AlphaSense (Londres, Angleterre) en sept. 2025
Entretien
The interview process was poorly structured, with interviewers seeming unprepared and not adequately trained to run interviews. A significant amount of time—over 15 minutes—was spent on irrelevant topics, such as my weekend activities, instead of assessing my fit for the role. After three rounds of interviews, I received a generic rejection email with no feedback or explanation, which reflects a lack of professionalism and respect for candidates’ time and effort.
-Recruitment - call with the HR team
- Hiring Management - call with the person you would report to
- Peers - Calls with different people at the same level as the job you are interviewing for (very badly structured)
