First round HR screening, second roung hiring manager call discussing role and team, technical eval (live coding dbt modeling questions with iterative changing requirements) with two engineers. Presumably more subsequent rounds following eval.

Entretien
Part 1: There will be a recruiter screening that is a virtual meeting (video)
Part 2: There is an interview with the HM who is very nice and very casual. Here he let me ask all the questions.
Part 3: The technical interview was 3 parts:
1. Python - the python section was just asking to fill in code blocks using loops and dictionaries.
2. SQL - your choice of SQL. There will be a few sql based questions be ready to use window functions.
3. Data modeling - this section was more free form. They asked questions like "how would you design a data model at a high level" . There was no coding here just a discussion.

Entretien
The recruiting team was slow to schedule interviews but with that, I continued on and made it to the second interview with the Hiring Manager. It went fairly well, I sent a thank you email, and waited to hear back on next steps. I was ghosted by the team and never received another response. Reading through other’s interview experiences, this seems to be common. Give the space Alma is in, I would expect better treatment in the interview process.
