I was contacted by an HR recruiter and asked basic behavioral questions. She was trying to establish my overall fit for the position.
I was then asked to come in for an onsight interview. This consisted of 3 different interviews. The first 2 were with department managers and they were trying to establish things like fit, ability, and interest. The final interview was with 2 older men who were well established in their fields. Their purpose was to evaluate technical fit and overall aptitude. I was not asked logic questions but I was asked basic SQL questions.
