Had applied through a friend who works there. HR contacted me and set the first technical round of interview. It was straightforward with different telecom terms concepts, testing terms methods processes. The interviewer was good. Made sure I was okay and calm. After clearing the first round, next round was with director of testing processes I think. It was a short interview. They wanted me to join within a month. I said if you offer me a contract I’ll make sure to negotiate my notice period. The director said no! Will only give you offer if you give proof that you can join within one month. This went on for sometime. I felt this was unprofessional on his part. I had mentioned my notice period and everything to the HR in first call. Still the director wanted me to give proof that I’ll join
