Successful phone interview lead to a Zoom interview with the hiring manager for the position. The interview went extremely well and I had a great conversation with the hiring manager. She even made a point to tell me before hanging up that she would like to move me to the final step which would be an in-person meeting with the team. Of course that never happened as once I followed up a week later after no contact from AB, I received an automated message thanking me for interviewing but letting me know that another candidate had been chosen for the position. As of today (over a month later) the same position is still being advertised on job boards online.
