The interview process started out the same as almost any other airline. After filling out the online application, if qualified, you are sent an email request to complete a video interview. They asked you 5 questions, all of which you were able to re-record 2 times (if needed) before finally submitting it a 3rd time. If your answers to the video interview are keeping them interested, you are then invited for a group interview. At the group interview, the first thing they do is speak of the company, the position, the benefits/pay/schedule, etc, and then the group interviews begin. You are broken into 2 groups, and the first thing they ask is for you to say and spell your name, state your number (which is given to you at check-in and written on your name tag), and you then say your base preference. Right after that, you are to say the PSA, WORD FOR WORD, that is emailed to you prior to the group interview. Then, you pair with your partner and read the first note card that is in front of you, which is a specific scenario, such as "what would you do if you seen two people fighting over the same seat." They want to see your teamwork. Finally, you are to then reach for your last note card and on the other side of it is a core value of Allegiant's. I got teamwork - you are to read a few sentences aloud to the group about what your value is and state an example of how you practiced it. After the group session, you are sent outside to the waiting area so all the recruiters can decide who to keep and who goes. When they call the first set of numbers, they are unfortunately cut. If your number isn't called, you made it to the 1 on 1 interview. They ask 5 questions or so in the interview which are all situational based and you must answer in the STAR format. You are then possibly given fingerprint/drug testing paperwork and told you'll hear back within a week or so. I was contacted by email 3 business days later for references, submitted them that night and all but one completed it that same night. Got a phone call the next day (6 days .. including weekend.. afterwards) and was offered a job! The interviewers are so nice and help you relax, and the corporate recruiter Alex is so sweet and helpful. I can't wait to begin my career with Allegiant and get to know so many people. The company seems to be really great and all employees seem to be very happy. I'm so glad I was given this opportunity.
