I had an on the spot 25-minute phone interview, which I made time for on my break. Seemed to be a good rapport and high interest on both sides until I mentioned my (reasonable) desired salary. Aside from being hung up on while I was trying to thank the interviewer for her time, I was told I would hear back by the end of the week - I never heard from her again. I was also reached out to by one of their store managers about the same role (and potentially another) and never heard back from him either. Yeah, it was quite messy, but at the same time, I feel as though I likely dodged a bullet giving the company's reputation.
