Went through a phone interview and then two in-person interviews. The phone interview and first in-person interview seemed to be very positive. They described the job duties and asked about my experience. I told them what my target salary was and they told me it was within the range they had in mind. When I had the second in-person interview, with a higher-ranked manager, it sounded like I had a good chance at the job. Then he asked me about my desired salary and I told him a range of $30-40K. He said that I would have to be really good to think I was worth $40K (I did have 5 years of experience, so I know that's not an unreasonable salary.) He said they usually preferred to work with more entry-level employees.
