Intro call with HR rep followed by call with an individual decision maker which went very well. Next call was with another individual which was likely one of the most driest conversations I've ever had. I get it, maybe they were feeling under the weather or what have you but they could've just rescheduled. Apparently, this call went well internally where I was asked to complete a take short home assessment to create a 2.5pg project plan for a customer that will be sent out before a POC kickoff. Was a fairly average assessment that took me less than an hour to complete which I sent over before the deadline. I was expecting to receive an email to confirm receipt but hadn't heard back in 8 days to which I sent another email with no reply. Waited another week and still no reply.
I expect an organization that takes a candidate through 3 or 4 rounds of interviews to at least have the decency to simply state they aren't interested anymore. Sounds like they really need to rethink their hiring practices and procedures.
