I recently applied for a marketing role in Asia. While I appreciated the thorough process—including five screenings+ interviews, and written assessments over four months—I was disappointed with the communication towards the end. The initial stages were smooth, and I advanced through to the written assessment and interview with the Organizational Psychologist from June to July.
I remained hopeful and followed up for a feedback call in mid-August, but despite contacting both the recruiter and the Assessment Team, I received limited updates. The Assessment Team mentioned system issues causing delays, and they couldn’t schedule the feedback call since my result (offer/no offer) wasn’t available yet. Then, in early September, I received a generic rejection email.
While I understand that not every application results in an offer, the communication, especially towards the end, was disappointing after the effort I invested in the process.
Anyway, I requested a feedback call in mid-September but have yet to receive a response.
