      Entretien

First round was great, it was conversational with the hiring manager. The second round was generic hacker rank questions covering Linux, Bash, and Python. The Assessments that had nothing related to the actual job. 90 minute time limit, webcam and screen recording, no interaction with an actual human.

      Entretien

There were total 3 rounds of interview. The first round was a technical interview, second was technical test and the third was the round with hiring manager. I was rejected in the third round which went very well. It was overall a good experience with the technical panel , however my experience with the recruiter was horrible. He did not reply to any of my questions, no follow ups. Disgusting.

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Akamai

      Entretien

There were a Hiring manager round at first for screening. Once its screened and chosen to process for further rounds, 3 meetings links were shared at the same time which clearly depicts that these 3 rounds has nothing to do each other and a cumulative points from these three would get you an offer from the org. These three rounds taken one after another in 3 days as they said this req is very critical and they are looking to fill it soon. Then I waited 2 week for any update from them regarding the same. During the waiting time I came to know that, it is a clever process setup by the hiring manager where they get that space and time to mix and match, apply all possibilities and then hire. It acts as a shield for the hiring team that after going through all the rounds they can reject you with some non sensible reasons but you would be only waiting to hear the good news. In my case they couldn’t come to a conclusion and asked for another round 2 weeks after. I appeared for the one and then again I was asked to wait for end of the week. I got no response again. 3 weeks since the process was started and spending more than 6 hour to this recruitment process and numerous unanswered followup calls I came to know that I am not up to the mark for them. They never bothered to put that as an update from their end. Note: Don’t run behind any company thinking or making it your dream company as it is a bogus phenomena. It will only give you hope and pain on end of it. Rather treat any company as just an employer and you are getting paid for the work that you are doing for them. Loyalty and team is like extended family kinda concept is not true. Through this interview process I learned this hard way. Thank you Akamai. Now you are on my blocklist.
