Entretien
Initial Phone Call, then given a task (complete a piece of analysis and present). Then an interview over zoom, followed by a final call over the phone. Questions included asking how you would approach a piece of analysis

What are your thoughts on the way new findings/results are disseminated through scientific publications? What are the drawbacks?
They had a four stage interview process which was conducted very promptly. The stages were:
1. informal telephone interview to assess suitability for the role
2. assessment task - given a task that resembles the task you might do on the job
3. meet the team interview - more questions assessming suitability and interest for the role
4. meet the CEO

Entretien
From my experience with this company, I can only assume that they do not value the time invested by the candidates. When I applied to the company, I had an initial phone screen where I clearly outlined my previous experience. After this phone screen, I was invited to complete a written assessment, which required a substantial amount of time to complete. Following on from this assessment, I was invited to interview with an analyst. The interviewer was very disengaged and it seemed as if she were reading a list of competency questions off a piece of paper. Very soon after, I was told that although my assessment was completed to a high standard, I did not have the required experience to proceed to the next round.
I can completely understand that I did not have the right profile to work within this company. However, I would strongly suggest that company invest more time to screen candidates properly, before inviting them to complete a lengthy written assessment. I would further suggest that interviewers perhaps receive some training with regards to how to conduct a behavioural interview, as an exchange consisting solely of competency questions can result in a very robotic conversation.
