Online Assessment, typical psychometric tests, followed by a virtual interview/assessment centre if you were successful. Assessment centre consisted of technical interview with engineering managers, behavioural interview with external HR staff, group assessment

If you were tasked with working with a low skilled but pleasant employee, vs a highly skilled, insufferable employee, which would you choose?
I was invited to an assessments centre in stevenage and we had some group activities with other around 10 people, followed by individual interviews. Travel and accomodation was reimbursed and it was overall a positive experience
