I had a complete and utter disappointment with Adyen. They try to present themselves as a cool, open, and inclusive company, but in reality, they followed the old-fashioned playbook of companies that don't care about their candidates. During my first chat with the recruiter, I received an invalid Zoom ID. I tried to reach out to the recruiter multiple times to inform them of the issue, including through LinkedIn, but received no response. No one on their end proactively reached out via email, message, phone call, or any other means to inquire why I hadn't shown up. After 6 hours, they responded to my LinkedIn message with a nonsensical excuse about the problem with the link. Despite this, I decided to continue with the interview process and scheduled another interview. During my chat with the recruiter, he gave me positive feedback and walked me through the next steps, explaining what I should expect from the process. However, it has been a month since then, and I haven't heard from them. I tried reaching out again to ask for an update, but I was completely ghosted. The ironic part is that you receive a message right after applying to the job position that says, "From the moment you apply and throughout the recruitment process, you will receive preparation tips, information about interview questions, and support from our recruitment team." However, this couldn't be further from the truth based on my experience.
