J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Adyen (Amsterdam)
Entretien
Went through 4 rounds of interviews. Got rejected based after the last interview with CEO saying there was only a “normal yes” and no “strong yes” from interview rounds before. I later heard via recruiter this is not the first time this has happened at this company.
CEO interviewed me from his kitchen and seemed distracted and asked weird questions.
They actually wanted to come back me after they rejected me to re-do the 4th interview. I declined.
Why do you want me to redo the interview, if I passed all interviews and you are the one who are making decisions based on bad internal communication. If this is experience was a preview of working for this company I do not want to work there.
Biggest waste of my time in my life. Job hunting is stressful and time consuming enough for a company to waste interviewers time based on arbitrary decisions and bad communication.
J'ai passé un entretien chez Adyen (Amsterdam) en avr. 2020
Entretien
First one was easy going to see if you fit the culture.
2nd was a technical interview to gauge your skills, out-of-the-box ideas on a solutions architect level. Adyen only recruits the very best candidates for their positions, so these scenarios are not easy and not on a small scale.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Subject were about automation, HA, performance investigation, Linux commands and how-would-you-approach-this-issue.
Interviewer was late, didn't sorry. IMO he wasn't polite and generally nice, but it could be cultural differences. Interviewer asked general motivation questions, didn't asked anything to clarify the answers, so you probably should make some homework.
