Unprofessional Hiring Process & Poor Communication
I recently applied for a role both online and through a referral. Following this, I was contacted by the TA team, and my first round was scheduled with a TA partner via Zoom. During this conversation, the TA partner explained the job description, profile expectations, and asked some basic experience-related and behavioral questions. She also mentioned that an assignment would be shared within 48 hours.
However, despite multiple follow-ups over the next three weeks, I received no response. Even my referral contact was unable to provide a satisfactory update. This lack of communication was extremely disappointing, especially given the time and effort invested in the process.
Additionally, this is not the first time I’ve had a frustrating experience. In a previous application, despite my extensive expertise in UPI and card payments, I was informed later that the hiring was closed internally—another instance of wasted time. It would be beneficial if the company streamlined its hiring process, ensuring that initial interviews are conducted by the hiring manager to better align expectations for experienced candidates.
A more transparent and respectful recruitment process would greatly improve the candidate experience.
